What's happening tech world...

...a lot has been happening actually. E3 in particular. The NGP, or what we now know as the Playstation Vita has caught my eye. With hardware I deem superfluous for a few generations(sarcasm) I find myself wondering if I'm ready to spend top dollar on this device. I won't get too specific here just now, but there have been lots of changes internally as well as some cosmetic ones(nubs). Thank goodness they're gone and hello dual analog sticks. Nice 5 in touch screen on the front as well as back of the device, very interesting. Very light motion controls. We'll see how developers utilize that. Might be neat for the homebrew crowd though. I'll probably end up getting the $250 wi-fi model as I doubt I'll need AT&T 3g service for on the go netplay. All in all the Vita looks very promising and with PS3 like graphics on a little handy mobile device, well here's hoping.

It's been a long while

...pretty rough if you ask me, but I'm surviving. School started back and I've had no time to add to my precious baby haha. Now I've finally figured out a way to get my stories down while I'm not busy so I'll be posting a story, if not everyday, every other day, with the latest tech info ranging from computers(my specialty) to cameras. So I'll be back on Monday to resume operations as normal. Until then this is Nate signing off!

Okay so.....

I've seen all these documentaries and the possibility of holograms and I realized it is definitely in the works. Somehow time travel came up with holograms, but that's another story. This new light touch technology is hologram like. Kind of like a touch screen, but in the air. You just have to look at it for yourself. I'm sure these babies are pretty expensive, but it would be cool to have one, at least that's what I think.

Ok what is that and why wasn't I informed

So let's see; the tech world is going nuts and so am I. What we have here are some mirror shoes. No the tech world isn't going crazy over these, I just meant crazy in general. Anyway, the concept is super slick. I would really like to see it in action. I mean just think a mirrored shoe. You're walking on the street and it'll look like you have no shoes on, but you're being elevated by something no one can see at first glance. I'd wear em in the house, just not in public. These need to go mainstream first, right?

has anyone...

...been paying attention to processor speeds these days. They seem like they're gonna get ridiculously fast and I can't wait at all.I'm an Intel guy so I can't speak much to AMD, although I'm pretty sure their stuff is just as good even not better for certain systems, but it all depends on the user. Head over to click here check out Intel's latest project. This one sounds pretty sweet and looks promising. My processors always run hot after a while. This will be a welcomed change...maybe some liquid cooling?
